Acupuncture for Post-operative Dental and Tooth Pain
Research into Acupuncture's effect on pain from tooth extraction, pulp devitalisation and acute apical periodontitis has produced evidence of significant effectiveness. Moreover, various clinical studies on acupuncture in dentistry concluded that acupuncture should be a highly considerable alternative or supplement to current dental practice as a pain relief analgesic. Other treatments for which acupuncture is successful at pain relief include temporomandibular dysfunction.
